This Young Girl Actually Made A Dolphin Laugh By Performing A Gymnastics Routine

Dolphins are incredibly advanced and intelligent, and that fact is pretty hard to argue. In fact, the ocean-bound mammals are certainly more emotionally evolved than most species: They even laugh when they’re amused.

You can see a dolphin laugh in this amazing YouTube video, in which a girl named Bonnie Anna performs gymnastics at an aquarium for a rapt audience of exactly one enthralled dolphin.

As she executes the moves, including cartwheels and back walkovers, the dolphin seems to smile, and bubbles erupt from its mouth, which indicates actual laughter.

It then continues to watch intently as the girl dances and stretches in front of the tank.

We never knew animals could laugh, but hey — you learn something new every day.
