There really is no way to explain how you let a cow into the house, but 5-year-old Breanna Decker still tries.

In the video that’s gone viral, Breanna gives her mom, Billie Jo, a series of increasingly frantic explanations as to why there’s a cow lying on the rug in their home.

She doesn’t make much sense (at one point Breanna says the cow’s been chewing on her), but stick around for the 3:30 mark, where the little girl finally gives up and just snuggles her unconventional friend.
