College Students Build An Awesome Roller Coaster To Welcome Freshman (And It Actually Works!)
If you had to choose between enrolling in a school with a roller coaster on campus versus a school that didn’t, which one would you pick? Existing MIT students came up with a unique way to welcome freshmen: They designed a functional roller coaster sitting right on campus.
At first, the design featured a loop, but MIT’s Environmental Health and Safety office didn’t want to put anyone in harm’s way and risk a tragedy. The students went back to the drawing board and created something equally awesome, sans loop. Check out the video below for a closer look!
