Wardrobe Must Haves For This Fall
Fall happens to be my favorite time of the year. I do love having that sun kissed look of the summer but the fashion of fall triumphs over all seasons. There is nothing better than a nice oversized sweater, soft leggings, and a pair of adorable booties to warm your fashion heart in the crisp cool of fall. With that being said, here are a few ‘need to haves’ for this fall season.
1. Leggings
Leggings are a staple item in any woman’s wardrobe. But as everyone knows they can be one of the hardest items to purchase not only is it difficult to find the perfect length but finding a pair that is not see through, especially after the first wash, is downright challenging. Although pricey at $55 I have found that the Splendid Stretch Cotton Leggings from Nordstrom are by far the best around. They are beyond soft, long enough for my long legs, and most importantly not see through.
2. Oversized Sweater
An oversized sweater is probably one of the easiest items to find for your fall wardrobe, but also one of the most important. Places that I have had the best luck finding this fall necessity for cheap are H&M along with Forever21.
3. Cozy Scarf
Nothing ties a fall outfit together more than a cute and cozy scarf. I personally am a fan of the infinity scarf because I don’t have to worry about it coming untied and falling off while I am doing things. I have found most of my cute printed infinity scarves at small boutique stores like Francesca’s while my favorite plain scarves are from American Apparel.
4. Utility Coat
A good go with most everything jacket is a must have for fall. I have found my best most durable utility jackets at Forever21 for under $30! Such a steal!
5. Flannel/Plaid Top
Fall is the season of plaid so clearly a plaid shirt is an important item to own. The best luck I have found on finding the perfect fitting flannel is at Urban Outfitter and American Eagle.
6. Boots and Booties
Boots are the essence of fall. This is also one place in my wardrobe I have learned you need to sometimes spend a little bit extra to get good quality. There is nothing worse than buying a pair of boots and then have them be uncomfortable or start falling apart the second they see rain. Plus if you invest in a quality pair of boot they will last you for many falls to come! Places that I have found some great quality boots are at Nordstrom and Solesociety.com. Nordstrom has an amazing return policy if for some reason you decide they aren’t up to par and Solesociety.com frequently has awesome sales where you can get great quality bots for a steal!
