12-Year-Old Blanca Ramirez of La Puente, CA is already a marathon runner. Before you feel bad about yourself just yet, know that she is not just any marathon runner—but one who is en route to her goal of becoming the youngest to run a different marathon on every single continent! She already has North America, Asia, and Africa under her belt, with a marathon scheduled in South America (Paraguay, to be precise) this coming August 10th. Ramirez is sponsored in these marathons, along with a slew of shorter races, entirely to raise money for Operation Smile, an organization that fixes cleft lip and palate deformities in children. I think the 21st century has found its new prodigy-hero!
