Brotherly Love Goes The Distance.

At first glance, this looks like an all American family.
1
Little Lucas Aldrich was born with something called, lissencephaly, a rare brain malformation that only occurs in 85,470 births. It can result in seizures, difficulty swallowing, and other serious problems.
2
Their other son, Noah, wanted to participate in the YMCA youth triathlon and not just by himself, but he wanted little brother Lucas to come along.
3
Noah admirably trained for almost three months before the triathlon began.
4
All his training paid off on July 12 when he cycled for 3 miles with his brother…
5
Swam over 200 yards…
6
And ran for 1 mile pushing Lucas in a special buggy.
7
“They have an amazing bond. They’re best friends and they do everything together,” mom Alissa Aldrich says. “The connection and the love that they share is truly unique.”
8
These brothers show us the meaning of love and friendship, and prove that no matter the obstacles, you can do anything when you put your heart and soul into it.
9
You don’t see incredible acts of love every day, but this 8-year-old shows us it doesn’t take much to make a huge difference in the lives of others.
