This past weekend, acclaimed actress Amy Adams made waves on a flight from Detroit to Los Angeles. She followed her mission to share the awesome with the hardworking US military; upon seeing a soldier board the flight, she gave up her first-class seat for him and took his original seat in coach. This isn’t just your everyday giving up a seat on the subway; airplane seat changes seldom happen, with the long duration and huge gap in cost and comfort. Adams ended up sitting in coach next to Ernest Owens, who said the actress told him she had always wanted to give up her seat for a soldier. “She just decided to put her money where her mouth is,” Owens said.
