Why Doing An Elderly “Friends” Show Reunion Is One Of The Best Ideas In Television History
Jennifer Aniston went on “The Graham Norton Show” to promote “Horrible Bosses 2,” and was asked for the millionth time about a potential “Friends” reunion.
Aniston said, “At this point, I feel honestly we should just wait. I say we just wait until we’re really much older and be just ‘Golden Friends.’ Then you won’t have the comparisons, the like, ‘Oh, look at Joey! What happened to them?’”
Aniston and Norton then took the joke to a dark place when they said they should just do “Dead Friends.” I don’t think anyone really wants to see that, but elderly “Friends” sounds like dynamite television.
I wonder what Joey would be like as a grandpa. Let’s revisit this topic in 20 years.
