No steering wheel, no gas, and no breaks? No problem!
The average American spends 38 hours a year stuck in traffic. We live in LA so that’s almost doubles our time spend in traffic per year. If you got that time back would that make your life better? Well you’re in luck! The Google self-driving car project has a goal of eliminating the entire burden of driving.
It’s only a prototype now but they’ll be designed to operate safely and autonomously without requiring human intervention. They won’t have a steering wheel, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal… because they don’t need them. It’s an amazing step toward improving road safety and transforming mobility for millions of people.
