A kind couple did something that saved a life and restored my faith in the world.
A couple visited a hotel bar in New Jersey. They noticed that their bartender, Christina Summitt, had a paw print tattoo on her wrist. The couple loves dogs and asked Christina what kind of dog she had. She told them she had a Great Dane and labrador mix named Tucker, and that he was at the vet. Tucker had just undergone surgery after swallowing a plastic ball. Christina wasn’t sure how she was going to pay for it, the three jobs she works and her husband’s full time job isn’t even enough to support their three children.
Christina was shocked and told the man she couldn’t accept the money, but he told her that would be honored to pay for Tucker’s surgery. She was in shock and hugged the two kind strangers.
Tucker is at home recovering. No more plastic balls for you buddy!
And thanks to the help of these very kind and generous strangers, Christina was able to pay the vet bill. The manager of the Clinton hotel said this isn’t the first time this man has left such huge tips after just meeting someone.
