The Rubik’s Cube turns 40 this year and what could be more thoughtful than a handmade gift! CubeWorks, a Toronto-based design studio, had the clever idea of shifting the colors of the three-dimensional puzzle toys into giant works of art! I think this will be a gift that the Rubik’s Cube will never forget.

This Rubik’s Cube remake of “The Last Supper” wound up setting a world record for the Largest Rubik’s Cube Mosaic.
Over 4,000 Rubik’s Cubes were used.
It was beat out by the same design studio with this re-creation of Michelangelo’s “Hand of God.”
CubeWorks once again beat its own Guinness World Record with this incredible mural in Macau, China.
The enormous mosaic, reaching over 13 feet high and 200 feet wide, is made of 85,794 Rubik’s Cubes.
