Meet 7-foot, 5-inch Elhadji Tacko Fall, the tallest high school basketball player in the country. Currently in the NBA, the tallest player is Hasheem Thabeet who falls two inches short to Elhadji at 7’3”. And basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal is only a measly 7’1” (sense the sarcasm?).

His doctor says he could potentially grow a couple more inches.

He definitely needs to be careful walking through doorways.

Although Elhadji stands at an impressive height, we learned there’s much more to him then just being tall. The 18-year-old has a 4.0 GPA, wants to be a biochemist, and only wants to play basketball so he can take care of his mom and brother and provide them with a stable environment at home. What a great guy!!
